Translators to translated English text to one of the following languages:
Description
- Chinese Mandarin
- Japanese
- Korean
- Vietnamese
Qualifications
- Graduate students currently enrolled in the humanities and/or social sciences whose native language is either Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese
- Prior experience in translation helpful, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is a plus
Assistant Editor
Assistant editor to support our team with updating and gathering information
Description
- Extensive telephone research to gather updated information from current listings and persons to insure that accurate and current information is available
- Internet research and document review to extract and validate pertinent information
- Editing and validating all data submissions
- Provide information and assistance to questionnaire respondents
- Assist and support with proofreading, validating, and testing all database changes
Qualifications
- Good communications and telephone skills necessary for the gathering and confirmation of existing data
- Basic data entry and computer skills needed for updating the database
- Previous editing and proofreading experience helpful, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is a plus
