Deerfield Academy review by Harvard University student.
Deerfield students' learning experience mainly revolve around disccusion and collaboration with peers. Higher level math and science classes (AP and above) begin transitioning towards lecture based learning. The school's rigorous academic program prepares you extremely well for the academic challenges present at colleges and universities in the United States. Deerfield prides itself in smaller class sizes. All teachers are available for extra help and most are extremely enthusiastic about their subject. As students grow, Deerfield gives them more academic freedom and allows them to explore different subjects. All Deerfield students leave with a good command of composition and analytical skills.

Ask questions and be interested. Also, tip for the parents: the kids speak on the tour. Do not ask their questions for them...
Most younger siblings have an easy time in the admissions process. I can only think of one case of a younger sibling not being admitted.
