Ransom Everglades School review by Bowdoin College student.
Class sizes at Ransom Everglades School are around 14. The faculty is required to be available almost all day and many teachers even skip lunch to provide extra help. The work load is out of control, however. I rarely got more than 7 hours of sleep. I learned A LOT and attribute my success today to Ransom, but I also think that it could do a better job of balancing out the workload. I believe that Ransom is not only the best school in Miami, but also in Florida.

Ask questions and be interested. Also, tip for the parents: the kids speak on the tour. Do not ask their questions for them...
Most younger siblings have an easy time in the admissions process. I can only think of one case of a younger sibling not being admitted. About half of the students who entered with me had come from public schools. The remainder came from private K-6 schools, or had transferred from other New York private schools The Elizabeth Morrow School and St. Bernard were two of the larger feeder schools...
Although I was overworked and stressed throughout my high school career, I woiuldn't choose anywhere else than Ransom. It was a great experience. The teachers are the best and I still keep in touch.
