Groton School - Class size at Groton School is great, no more than 15 people in a class. It is usually round table seating so everyone can see each other. Groton has a really good academic program. Pretty much every teacher is passionate about their field and try to make learning fun and entertaining. The student body has a competitive feel to it, which may be seen as negative thing to some people but I felt like it pushed me to always give me all in everything that I do. There will be a time in your Groton career where you stop working for just a number or a certain gpa and you actually start learning for the sake of learning. I definitely experienced that my senior year and it really just wrapped up my high school experience nicely. Apart from the competitive feel, everyone s genuinely really friendly. If you pass someone in the hall that you kind of know and you dont say hi, that would be seen as strange. Everyone greets each other; everyone has great friends. I always felt comfortable at that school. read about college counseling program, advice on getting in, quality of school life, and more »
